How to Play the Tuckwell CHASE Lottery
What is the Lottery?
The Tuckwell CHASE Lottery is a joint fundraising venture. All the proceeds are shared equally between the Phyllis Tuckwell Hospice and CHASE hospice care for children.
Hospice care is very special and strives to offer dignity, peace, calm and freedom from pain, not just at the end of life but also to those who simply need a special place to
go for care or respite. The regular contributions made to the Lottery help to secure the services offered at a time when funding is becoming increasingly difficult.
(Each hospice needs £4.0 million or more each year to provide its services free of charge within the local community).
How does it Work?
When you become a member of the lottery you are allocated your own UNIQUE six-figure number which is entered into the lottery. Each Lottery entry costs just £1 and you can have as many numbers per week as you like.
The Draw is made every Friday, when all 73 winning numbers are selected at random to receive winnings from the weekly Lottery Draw fund of £1,500.
The current prizes are;
- 1st Prize £1,000
- 2nd Prize £100
- 3rd Prize £50
- 70 Prizes of £5 each
No need to claim
All prize cheques are posted out the same day. You do not need to make a claim; it is all done for you. You can however check the winning numbers yourself by visiting the Lottery office, most Phyllis Tuckwell shops or on our Results page.

What happens next
On receipt of your application form and payment, the lottery office will allocate and post to you your unique six digit lottery number or numbers, depending on how many
chances you have opted for. These unique numbers are then entered into the weekly lottery. Winning numbers are selected at random by our Lottery Programme.
Every Friday
Our draw takes place each Friday and the 73 winning unique numbers are selected at random by our computer from the paying members for that week. Only those members who have paid
for that week will be entered. All prize cheques are posted out the same day. You do not need to make a claim - it is all done for you.
All winning numbers are published each week on the Results Page. You can also use the 'Am I a Winner' box to check your unique entry numbers.
