Greengrocer Terry Emment, owner of Mr Emment’s Fine Fruit and Vegetables Emporium, will be donating all of the money he takes at his stall on Saturday 5th October, to local charity Phyllis Tuckwell Hospice Care.

Terry has been a greengrocer for over 35 years, and comes from four generations of greengrocers. His independent, family-run business, which is based in Princess Way in Camberley, sells high quality seasonal fresh fruit and veg, and even offers eggs and flowers too. The fruit is hand-selected from London’s wholesale markets by Terry and his team, who get there at 4am each morning and taste the fruit before they purchase it, to make sure it’s top quality. You’re also able to taste it before you buy, at Terry’s fruit and veg stall in Camberley town centre.

“We would like to thank Terry for this wonderful donation,” said Leanne Magee, Community Fundraiser at Phyllis Tuckwell Hospice Care. “If you are able to visit Mr Emment’s Fine Fruit and Vegetable Emporium on 5th October to buy your fruit and veggies, you’ll know that all of the money you spend will go directly towards helping fund the care which Phyllis Tuckwell provides for local patients and families who are living with an advanced or terminal illness. Thank you Terry – we really do appreciate your generosity.”

With extensive fruit and veg knowledge, and great customer service, it’s not surprising that Mr Emment’s Fine Fruit and Vegetables Emporium won the ‘Collectively Camberley – People’s choice award’ in 2018. They take card payments as well as cash, also offer a fruit and vegetable box delivery service with free local delivery, which can be ordered online at www.mremments.co.uk.
